He explains the pros and cons of mandatory harvest reporting versus the harvest surveys we utilize, how harvest surveys, in combination with other data, contribute to understanding the big picture of how wildlife populations are faring and argues that participating in harvest surveys should be added to the list of unwritten hunter ethic rules right after not yelling at your buddy’s dog.
